This simple dish was concocted by a desire to eat prawns without any fiery masala!!
Prawns (medium sized) – 400 gms, shelled & deveined
Spring Onions – 4-6 sprigs, finely chopped
Garlic – 5-6 cloves, finely chopped
Ginger – 1″ piece, finely chopped
Green Chillies – 2 nos, finely chopped
Salt – To taste
Lemon Juice – 2-3 tbsps
Honey – 1 tbsp
Olive Oil – 1 tsp
Butter – 2 tbsps
Coriander Leaves – Finely chopped, as garnish
1. Make the marinade by mixing the olive oil, the spring onions, garlic, ginger, chillies, lemon juice, salt & honey
2. Add the prawns and let it stay for at least for a couple of hours, best left in the fridge.
3. Heat the butter in a pan, add the entire mix to it and cook. Do not over cook as the prawns will get rubbery.
4. Garnish with lemon wedges, and chopped coriander.
